Diesel Unholy Cocktail
Leading things off in the Diesel Motherlode Sampler, we have the original Diesel blend, the Unholy Cocktail. Packing this 5 x 56 spicy and robust Nicaraguan torpedo is three-year-aged, potent long-fillers from Nicaragua’s Jalapa, Esteli, and Condega regions. A dark Pennsylvania broadleaf Maduro wrapper covers everything up and holds it tight. The Diesel Unholy Cocktail is complex in character while remaining balanced. It has a full-bodied profile that is both spicy and sweet. Once you get this meat stick burning, your palate floods with a rich experience of chocolate, leather, spice, and wood.

Diesel Unlimited d.5
The Diesel Unlimited line comes in two varieties, natural and Maduro. With the Diesel Motherlode Sampler, you’re getting five natural and five Maduro Diesel Unlimited d.5 cigars. Let’s explore the natural d.5 first. At the core of this smoke is an electric blend of Nicaraguan and Mexican long-fillers. An enticing chocolate brown Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapper ties everything together. This leaf is spicy and full-bodied, adding another element to the already robust filler blend. Once lit, you’ll experience flavors of leather, earth, wood, sweetness, and spice.
Diesel Unlimited Maduro d.5
We’re all looking for something unlimited, be it happiness, love, or good luck. While unlimited things are few and far between, you can get close to unlimited flavor with the Diesel Unlimited line, which includes the Unlimited Maduro d.5. Many say this Maduro is the most intense Diesel to date. It’s a hefty 5.5 x 54 cigar packed with a succulent blend of filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras. Holding these in place is a Mexican binder. Covering it all up, we have a gorgeous dark, oily Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. The result is a slow-burning, full-flavored cigar spiked with zesty spice, leather, earth, and oak notes.

Diesel Hair of the Dog
Next in the Diesel Motherlode Sampler is the 90-rated Hair of the Dog. Any cigar named after a hangover remedy is one that we champion. Now, let’s take a closer look. At the core of this cigar is a Nicaraguan Habano blend. This feisty tobacco is held together by an Ecuador Sumatra binder. An oily Ecuadorian Habano leaf wraps everything together.
The Diesel Hair of the Dog is a medium to full-bodied box-pressed toro that delivers a complex and lush smoking experience. This cigar has an even burn, firm ash, and easy draw. Once lit, expect flavor notes of cedar, earth, toffee, and hay.
If you’re using the liquid hair of the dog already, we advise you not to pair it with the Diesel Hair of the Dog. Pairing stogies with hangovers don’t usually work out for us.
Diesel Rage
Everyone calm down, especially you, Hulk. We know you’re looking for a cigar overflowing with complexity that has just enough strength to excite but not overpower. You’ll get all that and more in the square box-pressed Diesel Rage. Deep within the Rage are Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long-fillers grown specifically for this cigar. Covering this blend up is a stunning, dark Ecuadorian Habano Sun Grown Oscuro wrapper.
The Rage starts with notes of leather, pepper, and bold spice. It’s truly an explosion of flavor from the start. About halfway through, the leather and spice continue with additional notes of coffee, cedar, and vanilla. Toward the end of the cigar, flavors of coffee, vanilla, cedar, and spice are still present, though the spice has faded a touch, and things have really smoothed out.
This smoke has a creamy finish not usually found in such a full-bodied cigar. The stick’s band has “”RAGE”” written in a chaotic red font resembling the frenzied lettering of Hunter S. Thompson’s illustrator, Ralph Steadman. Chase the fear and loathing away with a Diesel Rage.
Diesel Wicked
No rest for the wicked, right? Well, many of us believed the Diesel Wicked was resting forever due to a shortage of the rare tobaccos it requires, but now it’s back, and you’re getting five in the Diesel Motherlode Sampler! Long-leaf Ligeros grown in the fertile volcanic soils of Nicaragua lie in wait at the heart of the Wicked. Holding this blend in place is a Habano binder grown in Nicaragua. Topping it all off is a dark as pitch, heavy, oil-covered Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.
Once the Diesel Wicked is burning, you get a slight sweetness and spice with earthy notes. A little further down, you’re hit with a slap of spicy black pepper that never seems to fade. This pepper takes over almost completely and builds to a crescendo of dramatic spice at the end.
This stogie is full of flavor and body. Those new to the cigar game should sit this one out, for something truly wicked this way comes.
Diesel Uncut
Last up is the mighty Diesel Uncut. If you buy this cigar in a bundle, the packing straight up warns you, “This is Diesel in its purest form. It’s Undiluted. It’s Unapologetic. It’s Uncut”. Whoa. So this packing is telling us that a line of cigars known for its bold flavors and body has something even stronger up their sleeves? Holy moly. Let’s take a look.
A hearty blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers makes up the core of the full-bodied Diesel Uncut. A Nicaraguan binder holds these together and rests just beneath a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper. This cigar has an unfished foot that helps envelope your palate with spice once lit. The spice continues after this initial discharge, and milk chocolate, nuts, and cedar flavors all join the party.
